I was determined to fit in some crafting this weekend but apart from finishing off a card for my lovely friend Ems I have not been near my little room. We decided to change some bedrooms around which took much longer than expected but now we have a proper gueat room which when we have decorated it will look even better. So it was off to the Laura Ashley sale today for some paint and curtains. Saw lots of other lovely things so the pile grew and grew. Never mind, we now have some lovely new bedside lamps for our bedroom and our old ones can go in the guest room along with hubby's digital piano (arriving next week) which was the reason for changing the rooms around as it has to go upstairs somewhere. Looking forward to tinkling the ivories again!! I seriously need to retire so I can enjoy my gorgeous new granddaughter, craft, play piano, garden etc etc!!

Loving my new craft room. Its not quite finished, I still need some wall shelving and a notice board. Quite pleased with myself as I put the bookcases together myself with a bit of help from one of hubby's power tools! The best thing is that I now have some space to fill!!

This is a 30th Birthday card for a special friend of mine, the image is Sarah Kay, coloured with promarkers. The papers are from a K&Co stack and the embossed cardstock is a cuttlebug embossing folder. Sentiment is cuddly buddly.

Have been a bit busy recently so have not had time to post. Been out shopping this morning and popped into WH Smith while I was out, got myself a bit of a bargain. Two sets of 3 A4 Drawers for £4.99 each, reduced from £13.99 each. They will be great for all my A4 card and papers, off in a mo to sort it all out. Then I need to make a start on a 30th Birthday card for a very special friend. Also need to finish my recipe book, my daughter has been asking me for ages to put some of my fav recipes into a book for her, have made a start but still got a way to go. Will post pics when finished!!
